  • Whenever I've heard it, it's the equivalent of saying "Whoo hoo."
  • w00t is generally a term to signify a good thing, happiness, or other cheerful connotations while playing videogames. as far as I know, woot came about from D&D (dungeons and dragons) but now is used in most Rpgs and mmorpgs. from those, ive heard from several other players that it is a shortening of "wow, loot!" that is, the finding of 'treasure' in the game.
