    Over and Out

Funny you should ask that today. Early this morning our security lights went on in the backyard. We looked outside and found 2 big raccoons staring us in the face!!! OMG!!! Luckily, they were as scared of us as we were of them and ran for the hills!!

Racoons have been hanging around my cat porch. They like to eat cat food. They scoop it up in their hands. So cute, but they run off so easy.So pretty wish I could touch them. But they are wild and would probably chew me up.They don`t seem to bother the cat.But they are bigger than alot of small dogs!

Pest. They come through the cat door and eat the cat food, mess up the water bowl and are hard to scare and get out of the house. They don't respond much to threats and shouting and even beating them over the head with a broom doesn't always have much effect.

At 20 to 40 pounds, they are not to be messed with. They're not violent animals but boy are they a nuisance.

    Shatzee coming back?

a few nights ago, we had a raccoon jump up on the outside window sill and just sit there looking in the house. It was cute. It eventually wandered off back into the woods.
