Apathy. The pro-capitalist, anti-hippie movement which is every so popular among the apathetic elite. Lack of concern for important environmental and political issues, reglorification of the armed forces via propaganda after the Vietnam War and all the people they killed.

Unwarranted pride, hubis, the naive belief that Utopia lies in socialism, the herd mentality of the lemming, the lack of courage to follow their convictions, the erroneous belief that idealism will survive life experience, the misplaced ideal that government is the answer to life's challenges, the underlying belief that life should be "fair", the concept that all life, animal and human are equivalent, To remember that life rewards you for your contribution, to remember their are some values worth fighting and dying for, the failure to appreciate the birth right they have inherited and the blood and lives that secured it. Life is more than a college experience, a trip to the mall and money from home.

Again, Apathy. But also the trend of blaming previos generations for our mistakes. I really hope that we can move beyond that and make things better for ourselves and those who come after us.
