I would think that the soap would kill any bacteria left behind. I was raised in a family of five who all used the same soap, and we all seem to be fine.
This is a good question. I had never thought about this issue. We use liquid soap AND bar soap. I thought that since the germs or bacteria were left on the surface of the bar soap, that the soap would destroy them upon contact. Is this not true?
After living with my family of four for 21 years, i would say its safe.
We are still here and healthy.

No it isn't. Can lead to skin diseases, allergic, and aid in spreading of diseases.
