this is a nightmare in any car. it is easier to go auto from manual. to do what you want you will have to find a new pedal assembly with a clutch and then change it not to mention all of the exterior linkage and computer mods to let the system know the car is now auto. and to do all of this on a $12k neon makes as much sense as putting $6k spinners rims on a Geo that is worth $2k

You're reading I have a 96 neon thats automatic and I want to change it to manual. I plan on doing it myself but I want to know if it costs alot and is it very difficult. Because I heard on some older cars its fairly easy.
