Well it doesn't bother me for someone to open it the "other" way, but it really bugs me if the carton gets torn. I prefer to open it at the flap because it makes it easier to scoop out all the way to the bottom. I use a knife to pry the flap up, then to pry the top from the ice cream. It works pretty well.

It's hard to follow the directions in opening it when your wanting to get into the ice cream. I guess you'll just have to eat the whole box if you rip the top off!

I put it in the mircowave for 20 mins and drain the ice cream out through the corners
