Audio Equipment does not have to be specified on a motor insurance policy. Is this true?

it is true only if you don't have comp ins or don't want it to be paid for in the event of a loss. most comp ins only pays for kelly blue book value, if you want your system covered you must put a riders on the pol. of insure it seperatly
