It is widely thought to be 'Plan 9 From Outer Space'. There are worse ones but they are worse because they are just plain old failures. Plan 9 is a spectacular failure!

Plan 9 From Outer Space is THE absolute WORST SciFi movie EVER made!
In fact, this is what makes it so utterly fun to watch!
Here are a few videos for you to see what I mean:

blood sucking freaks
"Sant Claus Conquers the Martians" Has got to be the worst SciFi movie of all time. It has NO redeeming qualities at all. It's not even fun to laugh at for being bad like "Plan 9 From Outer Space". It's' just horrible!
Robot Monster comes in a close second place
This has potential....
I definetly have to agree with armageddon, it had the ame plot all the time.
The X Files got pretty dire.
The Black Hole is a pretty terrible film.
However the prize for worst sci fi film has to probably go to Armageddon.
hard to say. They're socks and the label vanished afges ago - like the day I unwrapped them.
They were cheap - so quite likely acrylic.
While there are any number of films, think I'd rather submit the tv show "Enterprise".

In my mind, that was a blotch upon the Star Trek universe. In fact, when I list out the ST tv shows, I don't even consider this one of them!
Attack of the lobsterman, by far the worst movie ever made.
Flash Gordon!
Can't get one.I love all regarding science.
The original Blob movie (circa 1955) was filmed not far from where I now live. They have a Blob festival every year. The theater is still there. I go once in a while to watch current movies. Cool place. Very old fashioned. Anyway, not the best movie.
Plan nine from outer space and battlefield Earth are pretty infamous.
LEXX. Never seen any worse scifi.

If you haven't seen the movie Ed Wood, rent it. Then look up Plan 9, you can find it on the internet since Ed Wood wasn't too good at keeping his copyrights in order so no one really has the rights to it.

I second the Ed Wood vote. In fact maybe you should just give Bacchus your netflix password so he can order movies for you. :)

You know, my friend did that. His roommates found it funnier than he did. ;)
