ooook. We were working in an area with a bad smell. Some of the guys were kind of gagging, one of them asked an old man who was having no problem with it why it didnt bother him. Without batting an eye the old man turned and replied "Son, when I was a kid I had a job down at the hospital, sucking out boils. One day a big fat lady who had not bathed in about a week came in with a boil right in her "taint". To get to it I had to have my nose right in her ass. I sucked and sucked and finally it blew, filling up my mouth. It must have felt good to her because just at that moment she farted real big. At that moment I ALMOST gagged, but no other than that, no problem!" Then he laughed and laughed. He thought it was so funny. I almost lost my lunch right there.

- That is why I asked. Truly disgusting. I told you it was gross, as was that old man. He used to say things at lunch time to make folks lose their appetites, then say "hey, if you aren't going to eat that...." He was quite a character.

I have to admit my wife has helped me out before with a pimple on my back which I could not reach, I think she must love me very much. I can say I would do the same for her. Generally no, that's something a person needs to take care of themselves.

For the most part that is 'personal' hygene matter. But hubby and I will take care of any hard to reach ones that either of us may get on occasion. We've got that love working for us!

I take care of my boyfriend all the time. I don't think he would do it himself if I didn't do it, and he likes that I do it for him. It just depends on your personal comfort level and that of the other person.

My b/f is always squeezing and poking his skin...drives me up the wall lol .. because i was always taught to leave things like that alone in case you cause an infection..

Not only is that disgusting, but it's unsanitary and leads to even more pimples too! When you pop a pimple, you have to use a tissue or Q-tips, so you don't cause an infection at the pimple site or spread the bacteria to other areas of your skin.

Maybe to get rid of that hideous red and white protrusion. If they squeeze the pus out, it might heal quicker and it relieves the pressure.

I know only one person --a guy, by the way-- who does that a lot...mostly on his upper arms and chest while he's watching TV. It kinda grosses me out when I see him doing it...like those who pick their nose in the car next to you, waiting for the traffic light to change! Ewwwwe!

Exactly, a friend of mine will literally ask people she's only met as aquaintances if she can squeeze their's, I can't believe her, and you can see she is just itching to get her hands on them for her to pop them, she gets excited and is totally pleasured afterwards if she's been able to do a good job of it (goodness sorry if I'm making you feel sick, I'm making myself feel sick I know that!)

Your choice of category (habits) gives a hint to the answer. It is not a matter of choice, but rather habit, or more likely a desire to better themselves by enhancing their looks.

It's sort of like washing your face, brushing your teeth, squeezing zits, and applying make up, all part of getting presentable.

OK RANT AHEAD! and possible answer.
yes it is bloody gross and hideous and nasty and ugly and pussy and errr why would you pop that its disgusting but i think its worse when it INSIDE YOUR SKIN!!!!!

it is part of OCD and it is actually a disease called DERMATILLOMANIA!!!

i have this and to the worst extent! i do myself EVERY DAY most of the time more then once, i have harassed my bf for the last 5 years i cant even hug him with out the urge to pop something anything even if i cant see it and its a tiny lump my finger has jus brushed past i have to look and try get it, if he wont let me do his i get him to do me even tho he cant stand it. i do think it is cringie but at the same time i really enjoy hunting the buggers out and popping them. i find it so relaxing when people do it to me even if it dose hurt. i do my sisters, my dad, my auntie, my cousins, my friends, have done my cousins friends and even my sisters boyfriends.
i sit on the net finding vids of spots, even the ones that make me feel sick. i actually can not help it, i get aggravated when i see them on people and i cant do them.

No if I really need to squeeze my pimples I do it myself. Although I always try not to cos although it is so tempting to squeeze so they go away, when you squeeze not all of it comes out. In fact you actually squeeze some back in. So in otherwords just leave spots alone and just keep your face clean and don't cover up with loads of makeup.

i think its perfectly natural. my best friend and i have known eachother for 17 years, she used to have reaaaly bad backne (acne on back). so whenever i stayed the night i would clean her back and pop any pimples for her. i now obsessively pop my own and my fiance's pimples. he puts up with it for me, because if i see a whitehead on his face, im going for it no matter what. i cant stand to see a huge white head on ppl it just needs to be taken care of!!!
