How is the amount of money determined to be paid out from a 401K if you were only married 2 years but the account is much older? Does he get a portion of the amount paid in during the time I paid in? Or a portion of the total amount?

Hi, I left my job in April last year and not touch my 401k fund, recently I received a statement from the financial institute handling my 401k and showed a withdrawal of my fund. Have called the institute with no answer, who do I contact next?

I divorced 10 years ago and now have sizable 410K. Can I rollover 15% to my ex wife without having a tax liability.
She does not habe a 401K plan.

You're reading Ex-spouse is awarded part of my pension. i am supposed to send her a monthly check (after I receive mine) Can I claim any tax benefit for this like you can when paying alimony?
