If Moses wrote Exodos why didn't he mention his adopted mother's name?

    Moses only wrote what G-d dictated. There are loads of details about his life, as well as the lives of other major Biblical figures that we would love to know, but he only wrote what he was told to write.

    The "Moses died" line was dictated as well, obviously. The Talmud indicates that it was written some time before Moses died, because he wrote a complete Torah scroll before his death (see Deut. 31:9), and no addenda were added afterwards.

    Perhaps you should also ask, why he mentions: And then Moses died.

    Must have been hard to hold the pen down when writing that one.

    she is simply known as only the Egyptian princess of Pharoah..and Leah, i have to correct this , it's ExodUS, means "the exit" as of Moses lead them out of Egypt...

    it was simply irrelevant....Moses bio mom or dad, is not given til later in Scripture....the most important fact is , his parents were descendants of Abraham and his son.....
