Three small wastepaper baskets..one in each of two bathrooms and one beneath the computer table in the dining area. A larger trash basket in the kitchen..a large recycle basket also in the kitchen for all our CRV cans/bottles...a fairly large trash basket in the garage by Jim's workbench..he has a nice little workshop in the garage! I think each is necessary and performs the job well. Happy Saturday! :)

4 - yes they are necessary - I could use more, my children can't seem to comprehend that if there is not a trash can in the room that they have to actually GO to another room to throw it away!

One in the bathroom, and besides that one, we just put rubbish straight into a rubbish bag in the laundry.

Two traditional ones (office and dining room), but in the bathroom, I have a makeshift one using a large brown paper bag that can just be disposed.

I have never heard either of these two statements: "We have entirely too many trash cans 'round here!" "We have entirely too many AA batteries 'round here!" Those are just 2 things you cannot have too many of. (until it comes time to empty them all.)

Going by my gram's strict definitions I have none. Waste paper baskets are for paper Only (she was a true nag about that) trash cans are for trash. I do have three trash cans in the house, one in the kitchen and one in each bathroom, all are needed.

4 not counting the small regular trash can in the kitchen and yes there all used. It's just the two of us and we live in a two bedroom apt. It can take a while to fill them all though. How are you sm00z? Long time no see.

Lemme see. We have the main one in the kitchen, one in the office, one in each of the bathrooms (3), one in the laundry room, and one in each bedroom (4). So 10. The one in the bedrooms probably aren't super needed but just make life easier. All the other ones are definately needed.
