Yes, I am highly concerned...but truly I am MOST concerned that the American people seem oblivious to it. Those same people who scrutinized every word that came out of George Bush's mouth (and rightly so...presidents should ALL be scrutinized to keep them honest) don't seem to care how truly dishonest this entire administration is already proving to be ---- from silly insignificant lies that make one wonder why they even bother, like the one about about Queen calling and asking Obama to please bring her an iPod or that he didn't bow to the prince of Saudi Arabia, even though it's all over youtube ------ to more major lies such as the true cost of all the out of control spending and the non-existence of earmarks or pork in spending bills larded with exactly that, tax cheating and evasion by federal cabinet nominee after nominee and the true culpability of our economic banking horrors (congress). Those in power are only as honest as we demand that they be and right now we are setting the bar very low. I'm afraid we will pay for this in the near future.

The only one in modern history that wasn't a liar seems to be Jimmy Carter. And he didn't do very much until he became an ex president.

It would be absolutely wonderful if all that we had to complain about was that only the President and Vice President were liars. I think 95% of the politicians are dirty, and the other 5% will be if they stay in long enough.

It did at the time - but now that Bush & Chaney are out of office and a new HONEST president & vice president are in the White house I feel much relieved, don't you?
