2001 dodge neon i removed battery and cleaned terminals and now it wont start. all the lights work and starter clicks like mad but not getting enough juice to start. before i took battery out there was no problem. i have good contact with batt

The battery is flat, the clicking is the starter solenoid engaging but once it contacts there is not enough power to keep it there and spin the starter, i would look at the battery voltage

You did get the terminals on the right battery terminals? if so then charge the battery as mink90 says.

It may need to be recharged. Have you tried jumping it yet?

I have a 2001 Dodge neon ES. Sometimes when I try to start my engine, I turn the key, but nothing happens. All the idiot lights are bright on my instrument panel and I don't see a load on my battery, but the engine won't try to crank over. BAD STARTER?

When I start my car, the ampguage dances from one side to the other. Battery terminals, coil, alternator and battery good. Sometimes it will quit, then after a short wait, will start again, but ampguage dances and sounds like it is shutting on and off.
