News is not always correct, in fact 90% of news reports have at least one wrong fact, depending on the amount of information provided. Then you have to consider who owns the station that news report is reporting from. Often news is skewed to fit the needs of and special interests of the owners. So your news report of 7% of 12 year old kids engage in anal sex is more like or could be, 12% of 17 year olds can't pull their heads out of their anuses.

That's sad. Just be glad it's not any higher, 7% is actually a small percentage. You can't expect everyone to stay a virgin until they're an adult. Luckily, a lot more people are making that decision, but still, most people don't. That's the way it will always be.

That is a little surprising... I wonder if the "new generation" is doing it because it will make pregnancy much harder? I know that I started to kiss and make out with guys at 12-13 and the more brave ones would put their hands up my skirt in front or back and one guy stuck his finger up my ass which was sort of embarrassing but hot at the same time as we kissed but we never considered anal sex.

Well, this is not surprising to me. Because they might be curious about sex, but does not wish to have baby or losing their virginity. So instead of vaginal sex, they choose anal sex and thought it was safer and could still remain a virgin. To many people, anal sex is considered nasty and beyond normal. But to a teenager, it might just be an alternative way of sex.

Of course it's not true. You are right to be skeptical. Just because it was on the news doesn't make it right. The story was probably based on a poorly designed, executed and/or interpreted survey. There results were statically invalid, but that didn't matter to the editor of the news program, who simply wanted an attention grabbing, sensational story.

I'm 15, and you would NOT believe the types of things that the kids at my school do... It's disgusting to come into school and all you ever hear about is what "happened last night" or even earlier that day IN SCHOOL!
