• There are definitely people who live in the Pacific Northwest who believe in Bigoot/Sasquatch and claim to have seen them. How many black bear have you seen in the wild in the Pacific Northwest? How many mountain lions?

• Actually, I think Bigfoot is reputed to be in the Cascades, not the Olympic Peninsula Rainforest. Isn't that true? I don't know whether Bigfoot exists or not, but anyone with a map of the Pacific Northwest can see that the Cascades are a massive wilderness area extending from the United States into Canada. It is not hard to believe that unknown species could thrive there. There are millions of black bear in the United States, yet people who spend an enormous amount of time in the woods never come across a black bear carcass. It's also extremely rare to see a bobcat, yet there are many of them, too. A species with relatively small numbers could easily survive there with few human encounters.

• I see bears on an almost daily basis, mountain lions I see maybe 8 to 10 a year. I have even seen lynx a couple of times.
  I spend a LOT of time in the mountains working as a guide.I have seen some really strange things in the mountains that most people don't believe in but bigfoot is not one of them.

• People in my country claim to have seen a bunyip my aunty who use to live on a farm with a swampy like billabong told me bunyips came and stole the sheep. I think she is a little delusional but that is just me.

• I think if you watch any large body of water for long enough you will see something you can't explain in the distance at some point that you can attribute to some mythological creature, though of course some may simply be a type of animal as yet undiscovered.
