dress up, employers like to see that you take your work seriously. Not tuxedo but you know, i nice set of khakis and a button down with a tie, or a dress, idk if you're dude or dudette, i don't look at profiles alot lol.

I would dress casual with a Polo button shirt and some Dockers pants with some Doc Martens. That's just my style.

Always make an effort whenever looking for a job is concerned. You don't need to be in a full business suit, but you want to make the best impression you can, at all times.

If you're dropping off applications, implying a less formal hiring process, I would say to dress somewhere in between. If you're submitting resumes, implying a more formal hiring process, I would "dress up" and wear a tie. In general, I think you want to dress the part of the job you're looking to land...possibly slightly nicer. I wouldn't over-do it because you don't want to completely out-dress your potential boss or interviewer. But even if you're applying to work somewhere that the dress is completely casual (gas station, deli clerk, etc.), I would still at least wear a pair of khakis and nice polo shirt or dress shirt with the collar open. Good luck!

If you are dropping off an application, your chances are one in god knows how many of getting a reply anyway. Make the best of the situation and dress well.
