  • No, it wouldn't be against their desires. They desire to have a child, and they are using IVF to get pregnant, not having sex with a man. I have a few lesbian friends who've had children using IVF. I mean, is it really a big issue if a straight couple who are having trouble conceiving to use other means to get pregnant? The whole point is the desire to have a child, not how it's conceived.
  • Me and my Partner have a a Daughter who will be 2 in November together. I was Artificially inseminated with Donor Sperm, because i had NO intention of getting poked by some guy just to have a child, even though we wanted one Desperately. Anyways, it is not the same... and unless there is sumthing else besides Sperm that can fertilize an egg, your question is Moot.
