Personally, I don't drink tea/coffee. My damn heart can't take the caffine. But, when I stir stuff, I always go counter-clockwise. I think I can chalk that one up to my left-handedness.

Clockwise mostly. Sometimes I'll give it a swirl in the other direction, or across the middle back and forth if I feel that it isn't sufficiently mixed.
