I love garlic and use it a lot in cooking. What is the best thing (if any) to get rid of the smell the day after on your breath? Good oral hygiene is naturally a given.

as far as I know, from exp, cooked garlic has no effect. it's the raw that gets ya, gently cook it and use it the same way you woud raw. (it adds another dimention to it's flavor)

The smell is likely not only coming from your mouth, but from your gut that is likely still digesting the garlic and is now an "airborne bi-product". Try eating a plain piece of bread for absorbsion. Chew slowly and really well.

The bad breath from the garlic is coming from your stomach. no matter how much you brush and use mouthwash, its still there.

There is a pill(name unknown), you can swallow that neutralizes the garlic in the stomach.

Its over the counter and at Walgreens.

It works pretty good along with mouth spray.

Chew parsley. Neutralises the smell in your mouth and internally! Full of Vit C too.
