To any poetry writers out there: how do you feel your poems are representative of the poetry your country has produced?

    It isn't. American poetry, W C Williams, Poe, Stafford, Bly, Dickenson, Whitman et. al. are each part of the American poetry genre, plus many others. What I write bears no resemblance to it.

    I do not think my poetry represents my country .

    My poetry and doggeral represents me as a person , that is a culmination of many places and many things, not a home country because i have two of them.
    I have visited many countries throughout the world and hope that somewhere in the verse my reading and travelling add some experience, humour and zest.
