My avatar is just a symbol representing how I made my living. The reason I chose this one is because it is very close to the icon that I used on my company letterhead.

I love old horror films and Elsa Lanchester's 'Bride of Dracula', I felt, summed me up. I feel I was created rather than being born of love between two people. She is my avatar on many websites and a rarely use another.

Mine is a cropped picture of me. My best friend used a face/body shot of me she cropped my eyes turned the picture black and white but left my actual eye color. I liked it so I used it as my avatar.

- Oh my, we have another one who has not yet learned to use the "Permalink" feature! Next to each answer is a link that says "Permalink". When you want to paste a link to someone, you should right-click on that link and copy it to the clipboard. Then when you paste, your friends will be taken directly to the answer and you won't have to do things like "see #4..." -- which is good, because it might not be #4 later on, yes?

The fellow in my avatar is dressed medieval... I have a penchant for that era.

Other than that, he has arse long hair, is tall, and thin... I have arse long hair, am tall, and slender.

Well, the attitude of debauchery, up to no good, looking for trouble also fits.

What it signifies for me is not what others see. For me, it signifies that most of life is unknown. That even if you think you see it all (eyes are the window to the soul), you really see only a small portion. Without the fan, could you identify the face? I do not think so. If there were another face with similar eyes, put the fan in front, would you know it is a different face?

It reminds ME to look deeper than the surface.

I love singing and my favorite note is the hemidemisemiquaver, I can say it really quickly, also called a 64th note. I made it myself using an online icon making tool then enlarged it so it fit better.
