No, not really.

No, but I think they are self-centered, unappreciative, and a bit out of style.

no

I was brought up to say "thank you", so yes, I do find it rude if people don't say it in appropriate places. However, I am also aware that many cultures don't say "thank you" in the same way as Europeans do. I can handle that.
-
yes, very. it only takes a second to say!
-
It depends on the situation, but I think there should be more please and thank you. It doesn't hurt to say it
-
Depends on the situation. Personally, I think people expect it too often - THEY are the ones being rude, when they expect to be thanked for every little positive thing they do. For example: 1) I pull you out of the way of a speeding truck: I think that deserves a "thank you". But... 2) You drop a dollar, and I pick it up and give it to you: maybe not the biggest deal in the world? Not just because it's only a dollar, but because I was simply doing the right thing. It was probably more for my own conscience, than for your gain.
-
Depending on the situation I guess...at times, yes, most of the time, nah.
-
'Thank you' alone can't decide about someones rudeness.Overall behavioral performance can give better picture.
-
Yes. Definitely
-
I feel sorry for people like that. They lack even the most basic of common courtesies. I have come across many such pathetic people.
-
It does depend on the situation... as a rule though, if a 'thank you' is deserved then yes, I do think they are rude.
-
I've been brought up to always say thank you and please etc. Although I went to Norway a few years ago, it was noted by the Norwegians how often we said 'thank you' and they thought it was pretty weird! I dunno if it's the same any where else. lol
-
I think that's the least someone can do to show appreciation or acknowledgement of certain things. It only takes a second and shows "class".
-
Yup. Least they can do.
-
My mother always said "Manners cost Nothing" so yes it is rude:)
-
Usually. Thank-you!
-
It is nice to know that someone is thankful, and it just makes you smile and think what a nice person, so definitely it is rude if you don't get a 'thank you' when you deserve one
-
Yes i do.
-
It's not what you say, it's the way you say it. You can scream 'thank you' to someone and 'fuck you' in a sing-song voice is nicer.
