Help answer this question below.

Why does the credit card company call and ask if I want to take care of my bill with a credit card? Umm..are they going to give me more credit? Just curious.

    LOL..Yeahhhh thats what they want to do..(sarcasm) DONT pay a credit card bill with another credit card..disaster in the making!! :)

    Seriously, part of the reason could be that several surveys have shown the average American has 5 credit cards. Now I don't know where these average Americans are (certainly they aren't anyone I know), but I bet that the credit card companies expect everyone whose soul (aka assets) they own to have 4 other cards almost as maxed out that they can draw on to make payments.

    Companies are now desperate to make you owe them more with more interest rates.
