Help answer this question below.

Why is education it's own category but it's not on the category column on the left? I have to go to 'categories' to get to it, so I have to click on a question just to get the 'categories' button and THEN click on it to get to education. Isn't that odd?

    It is very odd indeed. If I were you I post a suggestion to move it in the blog as they are currently discussing the category situation to make it better.

    There are a number of main categories not listed there. I think they want to keep the listing down to the main (most viewed/used) categories.

    Someone suggested the "Categories" header be a link to the "Question Categories" page. I agree. It would be a good idea.
