you can be married whereever you want but the gov't will not recognize it until you make an appearance at a court house and sign the marriage liscense in front of the JoP/Notary
My fiancee died almost a month ago and we have an suv in both our names and the car that was totaled when he died, the house we have is only in his name but i am an authorized person on the account what can i do to keep the house from going to his parents

Does the Louisiana law have stipulations against holding an employee's paycheck for not returning company property (i.e. keys, mobile phones, etc.)? If so, can you state where to locate this information?

If there is a will, do you have to pay an attorney to carry out the will? Do you have to go through succession if there is a will? Louisiana specific.
