Do you keep your toaster unplugged when it isn't in use?

    No I unplug it after each use. It is not sitting by the outlet and has to be moved towards it to use it. So I guess that is why. +5

    I keep everything plugged up.

    One of my sis unplugged everything in her house month before last and only plugged up as needed. Her bill decreased by $80.

    I knew someone who had a housefire started by a toaster that was left plugged in. All it takes is for that little switch in the mass-produced toaster to fail.
