Smaller tires will effectively give you a shorter final drive ratio, though it'll knock your odometer and speedometer off by a couple of percent.
You can try all sorts of bolt-ons for more power.
Depending on how uppity you've been with it, you *might* consider a new clutch; yours might be slipping.
But the BIGGEST thing is that you need to acknowledge that Honda Accords, by-and-large, are *not* good drag cars. They are a lot heavier than a Civic, but not much more powerful.
Dude, it's a Honda. Get a Chevy Big Block. Not much on gas mileage, but great off the line. =D

You're reading I have a 2002 Honda Accord 5Spd. I want to increase my acceleration out of first gear but it feels like it is struggling. It's has always been like but I just wanna know how I can get my RPM higher while in 1st.
