I was kissing my bf goodnight, we had like a 10/15mins making out session and I felt it was the right time for me to tell him I love him, so I said "I love you"and he gave me a long kiss, said ttyl and walked away with a happy smile. Does he love me back?

Look for the glint in the eyes which cannot be hidden or false.
I can almost spot someone who's in love because they have an almost unmistakable look about them..

He does, but I find it odd he wouldnt say i love you back? but if he gave u a long kisss after, than he likes u A LOT, but may not have the feeling of true love. But he does like u a hell of a lot

Sorry, old persons humour. Anyhoo. He may well or maybe he doesn't but that is a question only he can answer and if you NEED to know then you NEED to ask him.

Firstly though, if he hasn't made a 'How to lose a guy in 10 days' sort of bet and he doesn't seem to be a robot then there are signs that you can look for. These can be found by researching biological phenomena associated with love but also by watching how other couples who have already mutually professed love but are otherwise at about the same stage as yourselves behave. Be careful not to compare yourself too specifically, however, because that gets unhelpful.

Secondly. Maybe he doesn't love you. If he didn't say it and hasn't said it yet, this is a possibility. But this isn't necessarily a negative thing. Many times letting someone know that you love them, and them responding in the obviously positive way that he did, is a sign that the relationship is progressing but perhaps he needed the feeling of security that comes from knowing that you love him for him to really open up and explore his own feelings which he will express to you in due time.
