Help answer this question below.

I am a week behind my rent for my shop my landlord tells me he can send the baliffs in within two days and sell my stock to pay the rent i have a ten year lease im in my second year is he right in doing that

    What state are you in? I obviously suggest you consult a lawyer (I am not a lawyer), but that seems to sound very much against the law. Unless there is a specific exclusion in your lease allowing him to do this, it sounds unreasonable. Even then, certain unreasonable provisions are unenforceable.
