Help answer this question below.

On my laptop, my internet goes out ALL the time, them comes back on, it goes on and of constently, whats wrong, or how can i fix it?

    If your using a wireless connection it may well be something like cloud cover making your connection drop out.It could also be that your modems settings may be wrong and timeouts are too short so you might wish to check the settings and make the timeout periods longer..

    Depends. Is it a wireless connection? My best guess is that there is an Internet Protocol conflict. Contact your ISP (Interet Service Provider). They should be able to help you.

    I can think of a few things and most of them relate to radio issues. That's all wifi really is; a radio.

    Maybe there is too metal around. One of my friends lived in a place with aluminum studs in the walls so he had to be in the same room as the router to connect.
    Could be you are simply too far away from the router.
    Could be your router is weak-sauce.
    Did you stick your router some place hidden? Radios (including cell-phones) tend to work best when they have a clear shot at the antenna.

    I am curious about the answers to this one too as mine does the same - it is a wireless connection - something seems to reset periodically, and I cannot reconnect it without going through the whole palava of phoning the isp and getting them to do stuff on my computer. It always happens at inconvenient times.!I can get a connection if my ethernet cable is plugged in, but lose it when I unplug! I am most concerned about this!
