My 94 ford escort ran fine yesterday. came home parked it went to start it up again and it would not start, there are no headlights nothing. what would cause this.

    Sounds like a classic case of Dead Battery Syndrome(tm).

    Did you leave the lights on? If not, there's probably a circuit that's malfunctioning and draining the battery.
