I have a 1996 FORD F53 RV with a 460cuin engine my problem is the exhaust manifold every few months blows the gasket, i have been told it is a fault with this engine, i also have had the manifolds skimmed, is there a better gasket i can use or what.

Rather than being a fault of the engine, I would suspect that the fault(s) is/are with the exhaust manifold(s), which are much more likely to warp. They MUST be PERFECTLY aligned with the heads, or any gap will 'blow' the gasket. If mine, I'd replace both manifolds with new.
