Don't let your stomach stay empty when you have morning sickness. Nibble a cracker or a piece of bread. Something to absorb the stomach acid. If it gets unbearable or you are vomiting a lot and lose weight you can ask your doctor to prescribe something. There are safe medications you can take that are effective.

to eat a dry (ginger) busicuit before you get up/out of bed. not to eat big meals. small and often. then yes ginger, ginger, ginger! first thing after the busicuit. you can get some fresh ginger and use it to make tea.

Ginger <available in tablet form> may help and sipping warm water with sliced lemon added to it may also help :)

    Ginger is supposed to help.
You can also get these wrist bands at the store (jewel,Walgreen,wal-mart) they are made for people that get sea sick they got acupuncture.
Some stores also sell Preggie Pops they are suckers made just for pregnant people with morning sickness.

also when you wake up in the morning don't just get rite up that also doesn't help much just take it slow.

most of these worked for my sister but none of them work go to your doctor and he'll prescribe you anti acid pills 30m

I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant but spent 8 weeks of it throwing up daily and feeling dreadful.

People will give you lots of advice, but I found that it really depends on your body. What works for one person has no effect on another!

Some of the suggestions I got were - vegemite, dry toast, ginger ale/tablets/biscuits, dry crackers, icy poles, small regular meals.

I found the best I could do was to get my body into a routine. I knew I'd throw up once no matter what in the morning, so after that I'd have breakfast, and keep having small meals every 2-3 hours. This way my body at least would only throw up at certain times of day!

If you need to, ask your doctor for some maxalon. It's a safe drug that won't harm your baby but might help you keep food down.

Remember - just because someone else has had the same pregnancy problem doesn't mean the same solution will work. Do what feels best for you!

I answered a similar question to yours earlier. For me crystallized ginger works best (and other ginger flavored candy, cookies, and tea).

I read in one of the books I got, beside ginger tea, peppermint tea also helps.
