Ladies, when you take ibuprofen for your period pain, how many pills do you usually take at a time? Thanks.

I can't actually take Ibuprofen because of its bad effects on the stomach. So I usually take paracetamol or panadeine instead.

2 x 200 mg tablets.

always taken just after something to eat (even if its just a biscuit) - this is because if you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach it can rot your stomach lining.

I have 800mg of ibuprofen so i take one and im good for about 8 hrs

I take 1 or 2 of whatever's around. I prefer having a nap with a hot water bottle, though -- but that's not always possible. I don't really like pills.

2 every six hours for the first two days...sometimes it doesn't help and I have to switch to Midol
