So far it's I, Robot. I'd like to read his Foundation series.

I think I'd have to say "The Universe: From Flat Earth to Quasar." However, I must admit that I have not even read half of his amazing output and so there could be many more favs out there that I have yet to discover. I have read all of his fiction. Of these I like "The Gods Themselves" best, with the entire Robots/Empire/Foundation series coming in a close second and his novella "Nightfall" coming fast on the heels at third. Then you have to bounce back to his non-fiction to get to "On Beyond Zero", a remarkable book on the science of numbers. Hope this helps.
