Help answer this question below.
Yes, especially the Pokemon movies for the kids.
i have a lazer disk player, a turntable w/ 45,78 & 16 speed and an 8 track LOL
Yes.
Yes about ten of them. only three still work good tho. The other seven I just us for parts when needed.
Yep, two of them. Along with three DVD players and a Blu-Ray player too.
I do, but it just sits there. Sometimes the universal remote bumps it on, and I just hate that, but live with it.
Yes. I have a VCR/DVD combo.
No, thank goodness now I don't have the blinking clock I never could set.
Yep! Still don't know how to work the &^^$#& thing!!
Hahaha... yep! How else would I watch The Grinch, Charlie Brown's Christmas and The Muppet Family Christmas? And don't say "On DVD"... to get the full experience, it needs to be on a raggedy old VHS tape with commercials for Osh Kosh and Kate and Allie interjected every 15 minutes or so! :P
Yes. I've got lots of tapes I still would like to see and I don't want to and possibly couldn't replace them all with DVDs. I like tapes. They are simple and reliable.
Yep, and an 8-track tape recorder for audio too. Somewhere around here is my machine for recording on wax rolls.
Indeed, I actually just looked away from the computer monitor to check that it was still set to tape a program.
They still work well. My partner and I are in the dark ages with an old analogue TV, no access to digital TV, no pay/cable TV. We do have a DVD player, but it cannot record.
We do. But it's broken. We're still trying to have it repaired. But we are having a hard time looking for some parts, I think they're no longer available.
Yes, I have a VCR, and I use it most days for my daughter or for taping/replaying things from the TV. I just got three video tapes (Beauty and the Beast, Lion King and Little Mermaid) from the thrift shop yesterday, and will continue to use VCRs and VHS tapes indefinitely.
I do have one and use it to view the very few video's I have..many of family and Martial Arts..
:D
yes
What's that? LOL
Sure do.
no
2 VCRs and when they no longer work, done.
Own, yes. Use, no.
Yep and we still use it.
Old people had VCRS but in now generation it has become old
Yeah, although we don't use it and it doesn't work :P
yes 2 in fine condition
2 years ago. No I do not.I have Sky it records everything on a Hard Disk.
Yeah!
But I have a dvd/vcr combo.
Yes! and it works still so very fine! I have a huge collection of VHS films (close to about 100 or so) and I keep watching them once in a while and enjoy the most!
Yes,I got 3 VCR in my house but I need DVD recorder.
Yes. Cause I still have some of my favorite movies on VHS.
Yes. I have a VCR/DVD combo. Sometimes when I check a movie out from the library they only have it on VHS.
Yes, but it's rarely used yo...
Yeah, I use it to level out this table in my garage.
Yes, and until I can convert all those home videos onto DVD I will have to maintain one!! :)
Not only do I have (two) VCR players but I have an old RCA Videodisc player in a box with about a dozen disc movies. :-)
I think there's one in the spare closet...
yes and in fact I usually have to bitch slap my VCR to jump start it (so it'll work)
I am actually looking to buy one, but most of them are VHS + DVD.
Yup, infact I have 3 =3 All for the sake of each family member recording sumthing they wann watch and watching it later...
I recored dancing with the stars and american idol yesrterday, just cause it was getting late, and I needed my sleep. I have to wake up 5Am just to get to school.
we have a DVD/ VCR player, combine two in one so if it doesn't matter whether the video comes in VHS or DVD
I have 2 vhs players, there are tons of films on vhs that have still yet to be transfered to dvd. And yeah, like a lot of you mention, taping telivision. If only the 70s doctor who series were on, I need to get me some of that schlock.
We still have a VCR . I have so many great movies I don't want to get rid of it. Gary Dominicus
No but I have alot of movies on VHS and sometimes I wonder why I got rid of my VCR.
yes in fact i wont ever get rid of it til the RW dvds come down to $150
I also get rid of VCR player .I bought a car DVD player from onVOn .this car DVD is superb quality, competitive price .if you are interested in it .you can go to this website to have a look :http://www.onvon.com

Allision
Yes, so we can play some of our kid movies when we have visitors with young children or foster kids.
Yes we use ours every day. soon gonna have to get a new outfit tho
I got my first DVD player 7 years ago and the time before I had a VCR from Sharp HiFi. That thing never let me down .
I would die without my VCR! haha!! Don't get me wrong, we have all the latest tv, dvd player etc, but I can't bring myself to get rid of the VCR, it still records fairly well and we have got a few old videos that we like to watch, so yeah, don't think I'll be getting rid of it any time soon!!!
Looks weird seeing an old VCR and a nintendo Wii next to eachother! Who would have thought!!!

While recording, the electricity went out. Now, the vcr records snow. TV is fine. Checked connections, all is fine? What else do I check?
