Good fences make good neighbours, right? Can we have "Paranormal Phenomena" as its own category _next to_, but not within "Science"? Pretty please?

I read this a few times, but not sure I understand the question. If this is simply wanting a paranormal category I think there is one, if not just say it here.

I am expecting that by your question you regard the paranormal as not scientific, thus it should not be within science. Fair point I think.

Paranormal investigations involve science. I disagree with you entirely. In fact, I disagree with the "paranormal" label. In order to label something as "paranormal" (literally "outside of normal") one must have first fully defined normal. I have the same problem with the term "supernatural". To categorize something as supernatural (literally "beyond the natural"), we must first have fully explained the natural. We are no where close to that. I prefer "Unexplained Observations and Investigations", which commonly use scientific methods and, therefore, are science.
