Well folks.. today (5/4/09) we have had our first barbecue of the year here in sunny Scotland.. and it was wonderful!!! have you had your first bbq of the year yet?? (i know some of you US baggers like to grill in the snow... :)

Sun? You have sun????? I should move to sunny Scotland LOL!!!

Yes, we've kept on BBQing a little this winter even in the snow, as long as the wind isn't blowing up a gale

You lucky soul. I'm up in Orkney so we're not getting much sun, never mind good enough for a BBQ!! lol.

Will be going on a road trip around scotland in a week so i'll catch some then :)

  yeah the weather has been pretty good here for the past week and more although yesterday was cold and windy with some rain.

- well some years in orkney the summer is pretty much non existant! Orkney is a good place to visit if the weathers on your side though. I think we're due a good one this year so you might be in luck lol.

Yes. Here in MA, US, we had our first BBQ back in January. You are right about grilling in the snow. :)

Well I live in Miami, Florida so we were BBQing right through December.

Here in the midwest USA, the weather doesn't really settle down until late April, early May. We've had a lot of warm days in March, and even the beginning of April so far. I already cooked out on the grill a couple times last month when it was warmer. We are expecting more rain and possibly snow this evening. I'm not one of those who BBQs in the cold or snow!

- ive been to many 'braais' in my time.. i lived in SA for ten years and loved every minute of it.. i used to pray for snow when i lived there as it got so hot sometimes lol! now im home i pray for sunshine :)

Last week was our first time outside this year.I guess were slacking.My parents gave us and indoor George Foreman grill.We have used that this winter.
