I wouldn't classify it as "cool", but the ones I use most often are Ctrl + C, X, and V for copy, cut, and paste. I use them dozens of times each day. Very convenient.

The one sexy_in_mind taught me recently is one of the coolest: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/113930/252662 Quote: "Highlight your wording then hit shift F3. It will change it all to caps. Hit it again it will change it all to lower case." I haven't used it that much so it is not my favouite or the most useful shortcut, but it is *cool* none the less!

Well, there are actually quite a few. The most handy is probably ctrl+alt+delete when a program freezes to get the windows task manager to appear and you can end the program. Then, ctrl+z is undo, which is great. Ctrl+x is cut. Ctrl+c is copy Ctrl+v is paste. Ctrl+y is redo. Not all programs have the undo and redo, but these come in handy rather than always using the menus. Of course, the ctrl+s is save or ctrl+f then s, so file and then save or then a for save as. There are so many and I love them!

Ctrl+Alt+Del= Soft "boot" (as opposed to a "hard" boot)! My husband taught me. I use enough with this stupid Vista we have!

f-11 It takes all the toolbars off the top screen so what ever you are viewing takes up the full screen so you only need to see the toobars when you really need them
