Help answer this question below.

I a buying a home which is in another country and paying cash. I have asked a real estate agent to represent me. The agent says she charges 6 percent. Is that 6 percent of what the property costs?

    yes that is a high rate indeed most agents charge between 2.5 and 3%. 6 is outrageous

    Yes and that is a very high rate. I would in fact make sure you have Your native speakig Legal representative. Remember the estate agents job is to SELL the house, they are not your best advocat
