Is there any software/add-ons for IE8 that let you remove or hide part of a website? There is this program called Remove it Permanently for Firefox http://rip.mozdev.org/ but I need an add-on/program for Internet Explorer

And now you know why IE is only used by people too lazy to install a REAL browser.

If you want features or security, then ditch IE.

None that I am aware of. Your next best option is to use Opera and it's ad filter with a wild card. Or download the old version of Adsubtract proxy filter/server and configure it to block what ever it is you wish. Third, get a dedicated proxy server/webfilter on your network.
