I would say some other factors need to fit. How wide is the roadway, 2 or 4 lane street, parked legally, Vehicle 1 speed, posted speed limit, was door already in the open position before being struck or was VI impact same time door is opened? What was the weather condition, wet, dry, fog, snow, sleet. What was the visibility at time of impact, smoke in the air, windy blowing dust. What was VI driver doing before impact. Eating, drinking hot coffee, smoking, putting on make-up if female, talking on cell phone, texting, distracted by passengers in vehicle, brake not working, steering problems etc..get the idea..
