Almost any. I love flowers of all kinds.

I love Orchids--or even one orchid. They are delicate, beautiful (and actually very sensual in appearance!). The best orchid would not be a cut one, but a potted one. But when my kids give me a pretty 'weed' from our backyard, it brings me a LOT of joy !

Tuberose, for the scent mainly. They smell SOOO good! They are found a lot in hawaiian leis because of their shape and smell. I'd carry them around everywhere if I could, just to keep smelling them. :)

Gerbera daisies. They're big, cheerful and last a long time. I especially like getting a single plant in a pot with a solitary bloom...what a fun and cheerful statement!

A yellow rose. It signifies friendship. I love the idea that a friend would think to give flowers, in a non-romantic situation.

Stargazer Lillies, they smell like heaven and are gorgeous! Plus they aren't boring like roses or tulips. You have to look for them!

Since Fun. said lilies I'll say Gladiolas. They are very striking but don't have much of a smell. I really love mixed bouquets the most with a little of everything. Here is a pic of some lilies at my house.

Tulips always win. So cheery. So unpretencious. Orchids in a pot are always a winner too. I personally love Tuberose but have never received them. I get them for myself. They only bloom make perfume at night.

I like roses, but they're a little too predictable... I actually prefer giving them, but only to those I deem worthy... In getting flowers, I really love tulips or irises! They're so beautiful and sweet!!!!!
