Hotmail is the best. you even get IM all for free. you can make your own space/website and it could look really nice.
I personally like Gmail. It is very simple, and it has a lot of great features all for free. You get Google Bookmarks when you sign up, along with a schedule, and instant messaging. You can also customize it to your liking with different formats and colors. Plus a lot more.

I really like yahoo I have a AIM and a Gmail but I'm not fond of them.

Gmail is good for working mail, yahoo is good for personal mail, but if is for dating, iPal is best, it can recall mails you sent before, so you no need to conern what you sent before.

I don't think there is a best email system, everyone has their personal favorite program. I use gmail, yahoo, and msn, and they all seem to work fine for me.
Best? Hmm, I think there's only one that's not worth two cents, and that's AOL.
Crawler.com is the best because it has an email notifier and you can put your yahoo and hotmail emails on it. I mean with the notifier you no longer even have to go to those sites to check your email because it automatically checks it for you.
