Yes it is but I suspect there are a lot more good things being done celebrities which we never hear of. Those efforts don't make for such sensational reading.
No, not really.
Celebrities are no better than the rest of us and certainly no less responsible for showing compassion and humanity to others simply because they are wealthy. If anything, they should be more compassionate and more of a humanitarian than the rest of us because they have the power and the money to change lives quite easily.
It's nice that she helped the fan out, but it's no less than I'd expect of her or anyone else. She doesn't get a special gold star from me simply because she could been having a manicure and a massage instead of helping out another person.
Yes it is wonderful, but the bad thing is, some celebrities do nice things to get themselves publicity.
It is nice to hear something good for a change.
