Help answer this question below.

Sansui DVD/VCR combo. Dvd player door will not open. Whirrs and hums like it is trying. I tried prying. No luck. Used only a few times. Just moved it to another room and different TV hookup. Vcr works fine. Any ideas appreciated.

Hust after I bought my cd burner the draw did the same thing and still does. Just get the thick paper clip, straighten it out a bit and poke it in the small hole in front of the unit. It is an emergency release. Hope this helps ya
