28 day packs are really just 21 day packs with sugar pills for the fourth week as a reminder to keep taking your pills. A 21 day pack doesnt have a reminder week so you can go a week without pills and then end up forgetting to start your new pack that following week. OR for me I take the 21 day pack bc my doctor recommends me to skip my periods all together for medical purposes, so I go straight from one pack to the next and don't take a week off for my period to come. Hope that helped.

i use yaz which is a 28 day pack, it's really simple. the last 4 are "sugar" pills.

I started my period on a Sat. and started taking my Sronyx pill two Sun. after that Do i have to wait a month before i am fully protected?
