    In the area of England where Jamie comes from, Petal is a common term of endearment for little ones.....like "Lovey" or "dearie" or "Sweetie"..
    I can imagine that, Jamie and his wife may have been calling their lump' Petal since the time they knew of the pregnancy....so it just became an extension of that. I think it is cute......don't know if Pettal will agree, though, as time goes on!

    What's it got to do with me!? He called his first two Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo - it was pretty obvious the third one was gonna get a weird name. If he had asked my opinion before naming them I would have told him to think seriously about his choices but since I never met the guy......
