Help answer this question below.
I think about the girl in Uganda who has to walk 4 miles to get a pail of water for her family.
Simple. I don't.
Focus on what you DO have, rather than what you don't, and take the long view of things: in 100 years, 1,000 years, will any of this matter?
Balk at the alternatives
give yourself a jolt of spite every little while
remember - all hope is is wishful thinking. Do stuff about it.
I also endorse the ganja.
Look around you, the natural world is beautiful, look to your loved ones, they still love you.
if it is one problem, then i remind myself of all the other amazing things i have, if there's too many problems, i struggle.
for me, I really just try to pray and be close to God and just keep going. I know for me, that always comforts me and makes me feel better, and i know i can come out of it stronger
Faith
I look for distractions to try to keep the tough times in perspective.
